Teaching Assistant with lunchtime responsibilities

Bloxham Primary School is a 'Good School' (Ofsted Feb 2017) and an ‘Outstanding School’ (SIAMS March 2017).  Selected as a “Lead Partner” for Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Association (OTSA) December 2015.

An opportunity has arisen to join our school as a teaching assistant from 4th November 2019.  The successful applicant will work in year 6 for this academic year and will have had successful experience of working with children of this age and with a range of additional learning needs. The successful candidate will be expected to work in other year groups in the future to meet the needs of the school and more importantly the children. The post is for mornings from 8.45 to 12.30 in class as a TA (grade 4 point 5 £9.74 hour) and as a lunchtime assistant from12.30 to 1.30, (grade 1 point 1 £9.00 hour) which is a total of 23.75 hours per week, term time only. The posts are not available for job share. The successful candidate would be encouraged to undertake HLTA training and school based teacher training in the future.
