The year was a mix of strategic issues: review of implementation of the Communications and Data Policy for GDPR requirements; ongoing efforts to ensure that pupil numbers were maintained – open mornings in Foundation stage seeming to be effective in improving the intake; preparation for the school Vision exercise that is planned for 2019-2020; due examination of the KS2 SATs results; and movements of personnel.

The governing body saw some experienced governors leave during the year, and are grateful for the time and energy they gave to the school – some over a considerable length of time. We welcomed new parent governors to the group and actively sought co-opted governors to fill those vacancies.
