What a creative class!
After taking inspiration from the beautiful picture book Flotsam, we've had a productive couple of weeks studying persuasive posters and designing our own. They are now ready to be placed round school in a bid to advise our fellow young citizens to make good choices in preventing further ocean pollution.
In maths, we have been consolidating our understanding of place value and using this knowledge to reason and problem solve.
I have been amazed by the talent in the class in our art lessons. We have focused on observational drawing of shells and this week moved on to portraits with proportions of the face. We are all looking forward to drawing portraits of our friends next week!
We have also been exploring mountains with lots of atlas exploration and technical vocabulary.
Have a great weekend enjoying the sunshine :-)
