Week 3 in 5B
This week we have been writing a type of poetry called Kennings. They are an ancient Viking/Anglo Saxon style of poetry. We wrote them about Paddington (either the bear or the station) See the attached pictures
As part of our topic on Mountains we used atlases to locate mountains in the world and we used cubes (1 cube = approximately1000m) to show their heights.
On Friday we continued our study of Leonardo Da Vinci and practised drawing portraits in proportion.
Sugarloaf are table of the week - well done
Thought of the week - It matters not how many times you fall. What matters is how many times you rise.
Thankyou to George, Joe, Max and Leo for the Lego model.
