Push and Pull
In Science we have been learning about forces. We showed examples of ‘push’ and ‘pull’ whilst thinking about why things fall to the ground (rather than us just floating about!).
We have jumped in with two feet into English, securing our understanding of: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Miss Naidu finds this tricky too, especially when words can be a noun in one sentences and a sneeky verb in another, like bark!
In term 1, we spent a long time exploring place value and are so glad we did. We have been amazing at subtracting this week! Now, we are ready to start multiplying and dividing.
In RE, we have explored ‘miracles’ and what it means. We explained the meaning as:
· never happened before
· you don’t know the timing
· timing might not make sense
· just appears
· doesn’t happen everyday
· Jesus performed miracles (including forgiveness)
Word of the week: proudly
