The future

During last week all our children enjoyed taking part in our Wear it Wild day. Alongside all the fun of the children and staff wearing a marvelous array of fancy dress there was the very serious question of how we can look after our environment in the future and ensure that many species that are currently at risk are protected. It is clear, that our children, like so many others world-wide have a real interest and passion in environmental issues. Earlier in the week the year 4 had enjoyed a living history day, learning about the Vikings (and no they didn’t wear horns..) with the added advantage of the experts coming to the children as opposed to the children having to travel.

As I have mentioned before in my blog, over the last few months a committed group of Governors and staff have been working really hard thinking about the future vision of the school. As part of this work we are really keen to gather the views of all stakeholders, including children, parents, governors and of course staff. The questionnaire is now complete and will be circulated next week. I do hope you will find 10 minutes to complete it- your thoughts will really help shape the future of our school.
