In 1999 I graduated from Brookes University with a Joint Honours BEd in teaching and mathematics. That year I took up my first teaching post in Wantage where I taught Years 5/6 for eight years. In my second year I took on responsibility for overseeing the computing curriculum. I also took on the role of governor in Fritwell School where I served for four years.
In 2007 I left my teaching position to have my first child. It was during this time that I began regular supply teaching in a couple of schools within the Bicester Partnership. This ultimately led to me taking on a part-time teaching/PPA/Re coordinator/SENCO role at one of the schools. During this time, I also had my second child!
Presently I teach Year 4 and have responsibility for Computing in school.
