I have lived in Bloxham for 22 years, widowed with 3 married stepsons and 8 grandchildren. I previously lived and worked in north London. I retired in 2003 after 42 years in the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist working in hospital Pathology laboratories. From 1982 until my retirement I worked at the Horton Hospital in charge of the Blood Transfusion Laboratory and for the last 5 years I was also Pathology Manager.
I have helped lead the After School Church Club at Bloxham Primary School since it started in 2006. I became a Foundation Governor, appointed by the church, in December 2006.
Since retirement I have become a joint curator of Bloxham Village Museum. I am also interested in local history and family history. My other interests include gardening and craftwork, particularly paper craft.
I am also on the Personnel Committee.
