Year 6 started the cold, foggy Tuesday morning with an orienteering task out on the school field.

With energy, optimism and enthusiasm, teams of 6 followed an orienteering route around different olympic 'zones' on the field - visiting events such as swimming, equestrian events and athletics to receive medals.

The route took them on an olympic journey through events, where they collected points for each meal, using a map of the school outdoors site to guide them.

Muddy trainers aside, the morning was a success!

Sounds like a really fun lesson and well done to the classes for facing the wet and mud and cold. Keep up the enthusiasm! yessmiley
