Tables and Tessellation
We have had a good start to the new academic year. The children have really shown that they have a love of learning and we have had some laughs already, which is always good.
By the end of year 3, the expectation is that times tables are known but we shall continue to practise, practise, practise!
As per the Home Learning, we are studying the work of M.C. Escher and we have already been looking at tessellation using 2D shapes.
Paddington is the focus of our English learning at the moment and we are enjoying watching some original episodes from 1975! This week we did some iPad research into 'Darkest Peru' and found some interesting facts. Lock up your guinea pigs!!
Please ensure you have a clean PE kit and water bottle in school every day.
Emporers this week were Finn and Gabriel - well done, boys.
Star of the week was Amelia for an enthusiastic start to the year.
