In English this week we have been planning our own Roman myth and have enjoyed adding some gory descriptive adjectives and similes to our plans. We had fun acting out our stories in groups with the a picture of The Colosseum on the whiteboard as a backdrop. All was going well until we had a little mishap with Will's over-exuberance resulted in an end to the show and the filming. No one was hurt in the production and all ROFL!

Not quite so much fun in Maths...FRACTIONS!!! We will defeat them!

In Art we learned about the marvellous tesselating qualities of the hexagon and why bees make their honeycombs this way. Our art was Escher and honeycomb inspired! Next week we are planning to pass on our knowledge of this term's learning in Art to the Year 5 children.

Superstars this week were Will and Jessica and Star of the Week was Tom for his consistently great attitude in all of his learning, especially English. smiley

PS We are loving our Music lessons this year - thank you to Ms Coles!
