Midsummer Madness

With the weather really hotting up, please remember the importance of covering up, staying in the shade and drinking lots of water!

Sports Day was a great success with everyone competing with gusto! We had an amazing sprint off in the Year 4 girls' relay between Eliza and Amelia. Wow!

This week we have also enjoyed:

  • More Midsummer dancing and singing,Georgia O'Keeffe oil pastel sketching, writing our own 'Kapok Tree' stories, finishing our masks in D&T, programming on Scratch jnr and finding fractions of amounts in Maths.
  • We have also seen a flurry of Headteacher's awards for some amazing Rainforest Home Learning efforts. We've had sock lemurs, cake lemurs and jaguar shortbread, along with fabulour Art and D&T too.

  • Superstars this week were Phoebe and Max. (Thank you for the morning raspberries!)
  •  Star of the week was Fred for being cheerful and for always encouraging and congratulating others. smiley

Stay cool, everyone and let's try to enjoy the last few weeks as a fabulous Year 4 Class!
