It was so lovely to see the children again this Tuesday and they gave me a warm welcome back. Thank you to Mrs Lowen, Mrs Lammond and Mrs Matthews for 'holding the fort' in my absence.
This week we have been using the book about 2 male penguins in Central Park Zoo who bring up a little penguin chick. We have done some amazing artwork in pencil and paint and have also done some research on other animals that lay eggs in preparation for next week's writing.
In Maths, we have been concentrating on decimal numbers - adding and ordering them.Practise counting up and down in tenths and hundredths at home when you get a chance.
The attached photo is of one of the many piles of UNNAMED jumpers in school currently. On Monday at 3.30 these will all be in 4W for all parents to come and claim. Following this, we shall be selling off the remaining jumpers on Wednesday - same time, same place.
Kitty and Kyle have been fabulous superstars this week and Star of the Week is Fred, who has settled in well and shown his great attitude in all learning activities.
