This has been a fantastic and very busy end to the term! We have played Vikings, cooked, written Shakespeare stories and even worked with money!
On Tuesday, we held our first Viking day where the parents were invited in to come and watch our performance all about these vicious people! On the day we created traditional Viking biscuits, did a Viking exercise regime and also completed a Viking treasure hunt in the glorious sunshine. The assembly was fantastic, each child playing a part, some brilliant actions and some truly wonderful singing. Thank you to all the parents who attended and to everyone who dressed up. It was a truly wonderful day.
In English this week, we have been writing our own version of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, focusing particularly on the scene with Puck, Titania, Oberon and Bottom. There are some really superb ideas and very imaginative creations! We will continue these after half term. In Maths, we have been continuing with addition and subtraction, focusing on money. We will continue this in the first week of term.
Hope you all have a wonderful half term. It is crazy to think that we only have 1 Term left! – Only 7 weeks! The time has completely flown by!
