4 Days that went quickly!

This week in English, we have been learning more about our best text, ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’. We have been creating our own storyboards based on the play and making our own dramatizations in mixed groups. We performed them today and each was very like a production you would see at the RSC!

In Maths, we have been looking at decimal numbers and measurements. In particular, converting between Centimetre’s and Meters. Today, we also started, towards the end of the lesson, working our equivalent fractions and their decimal equivalents. We have also completed our weekly Maths assessment. If you would like to know your child’s score, please come and ask.

In Art, we have been designing our own masks for our ‘Midsummer night’s dream’ whole school performance in July. In PE, we have been doing a mixture of fitness activities and tennis.

A quick apology in regards to the Home learning. I made the mistake of putting the wrong shape in the box! Please do not worry if your child did not complete this section of the area and perimeter questions. We are not teaching them GCSE Maths! (Just yet!).
