After a slow start with many yawning children, we are up and running. We are really enjoying using The Tunnel by Anthony Browne as our best Voyage and Return tuext. Our own stories will be linked to The Stone Age - a story about 2 siblings who are not at all alike! Ring any bells??

In Maths we have been using coins and adding and subtracting amounts of money. We have been using the counting on method.

In Art, we created a warm or cold colour background wash, mixing our own secondary colours. This will be the background for our final piece of Keith Haring work.

In Science we have learned about the 3 types of rock - sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic. Thank you to everyone who has bought in rocks and lovely books to help with this topic.

Superstars this week were Kyle and Emily. Top Banana was George for his enthusiasm and effort in every subject smiley
