Year 3 had a fablulous day at Sutton Courtney Environmental Education Centre. The weather was perfect, the pupils and staff behaved impeccably and we had a whole day of learning, mostly outside. Many thanks to the adults who kindly gave up their time to join us - Mrs Bletchly, Mrs Thompson and Mrs Clinkard.

In Maths this week we have been practising our data handling skills and also estimating and measuring in grams and kilograms. We are all more familiar with what an apple or bag of potatoes migh weigh now.

In English we wrote our own stories based on Stone Soup. As it was Year 6 SATs, we had to be very quiet and some of us wrote for 40 minutes! We are all thinking about the best place to place paragraph breaks now.

Superstars were George and Amelia this week and Top Banana was Katya for excellent knowldege and fabulous contributions during our Science visit.

Olivia remains our 4 x table champion - come on the rest of you!!
