Our Home Learning last week produced some excellent pieces of artwork for a classroom display of Keith Haring inspired work. Well done!

We are all tired but happy to have had such a fantastic first term in Year 3. We have worked our socks off and are all now taking on the challenges with gusto!

In English, we finished writing up our Explanation texts on volcanoes and presented these with a real mini explosion in our clay models. It was great fun.

We all enjoyed the visit from the author, who read some of his new book to us. Very funny!! We learned that all good authors have their work edited many times before it is finally published.

Many thanks to Mr Bennet for his visit on Monday. We enjoyed having someone new reading to us and we shall be choosing our new governor's book after half term.

Superstars this week were Tom and Eliza - great role models. Top Banana was Luke for his hard work in English and Maths.

Have a great half-term everyone.
