Another steep learning curve for Year 3 this week when we learned how to 'chunk' to divide. Those of us who know our times tables didn't find this too tricky but, after 3 days, we needed a lie down in a darkended room! However, using the outdoors as our learning environment today, we were all fired up and raring to have another go!

In English, we have learnt the story, Stone Soup and next week, we shall be innovating the story with our own creative ideas. We are all becoming much more confident to embellish the best texts now with our own descriptions of characters and settings. Well done!

In French this week, we have been learning to ask and answer questions about what foods we like and dislike. Some fabulous pronunciations of french words today!

Good luck with the Home Learning this week - we are looking forward to some amazing pyramids for our display.

Superstars Olivia and Max were brilliant this week and Top Banana was Eliza for consistently producing excellent written work in all subjects.
