This week, we have  written our own versions of the brilliant Anthony Browne book, The Tunnel. Our version is called The Cave. The children have used their knowledge of The Stone Age to be creative with their writing and this has seen Mum in the story making sticky mammoth ribs and juicy neck of horse for tea!

In Maths, we have been getting soggy by having hands on experience with a wide range of containers whilst learning about capacity.

We now know that 1000ml = 1litre and that the tallest container does not always hold the most liquid.

PE has seen our Cross Country runners do extrememly well at Sibford school - well done to all of the Year 3 children.

Next week, we shall be starting our new Art topic of tie-dye using primary colours. We may even sing our new French rainbow song at the same time!

Superstars this week were Toby and Katya and Top Banana was George for his continuing enthusiasm in every subject. Well done to all!smiley
