We rounded off a great Term Five with Super Soup Making! Thank you Mrs Cox, Mrs Brierley, Mrs Freeman and Mrs Matthews for helping us to chop, grate, peel, slice, dice and cut vegetables – no fingers were damaged in the process which was a great achievement. The soup was cooked and much enjoyed by many of the children who felt very proud of their culinary creation! The children evaluated the process and drew some lovely pictures.
In addition to the cooking, we practised for Sport’s Day, managed to do a Reading Comprehension Assessment and both an Arithmetic and Reasoning Paper practice. The children enjoyed going through the answers afterwards to highlight their strengths and identify the areas that require more support. Generally everyone did very well.
I hope everyone has a happy Half Term break and we all return in top form for Term Six!
