Not too spooky!
Not too many goblins, demons and witches in class 3SH this week but obviously much fun was had on Halloween Tuesday and an alarming amount of sugary delectations were consumed! High on all the excitement we have put all our energies into learning about properties of 3D shape, regular and irregular polygons as well as right angles and how many degrees in a ¼ or ½, ¾ or whole turn. There were some clear explanations which helped everyone understand. Money will be our focus next week in Maths.
English has found us all on a journey through a tunnel. This book makes many links with ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.’ There have been many children making sensible connections and thinking deeply to answer the challenging Comprehension questions. Well Done to those children who answered questions in full sentences.
French found us writing our own unique colour sentences and RE gave us a chance to evaluate our learning about Hinduism and to consider our Holi dance for PE.
Congratulations to joint Times Table Champions Jordan and Noah. Magical Mathematician Sayal. Resilient Rylie. Top Achiever Eva who has made noticeable improvement. Thank you to Super Stars Orson and Fraser.
A great week and the children loved the treat of watching a 90 second clip of Isla Nelson – regarded as an inspiring young woman, who aired her views on Easter!
