A busy week in Year 3. This week in English we have started to plan and write our own tragedy story. We have been able to think about the character and the setting whilst thinking of something terrible that could happen. We have been able to use conjunctions, paragraphs and edit our work.
In Maths we have learning to tell the time. We have been able to look at analogue and digital clocks to tell the time. We have been able to tell the time using roman numerals as well. We have started to look at how many days there are in each month and how many days there are in a year.
In science we have continued our topic of animal include humans. We have been able to identify different food groups and we have explained our own choice of a healthy meal. We have also been to the Warriner School farm to learn about lambing.
In Geography we have been continuing our learning on map skills. We have been identifying contours on maps and identifying different land forms such as hills and valleys.
