At Bloxham Primary School we are very lucky to be situated in beautiful countryside surroundings with many places for the children to learn about nature. One such place is the school pond nestled behind the car park.
As part of the children's Science learning, 2S had the opportunity to go 'pond dipping' to see if our yearly visitors had returned. Each child hoping they would be the one to find them.
The children were not disappointed! They very quickly caught wonderful specimins of the Great Crested Newt, Smooth Newt and amongst the many larvae, very large Dragonfly larvae.
A very sucessful pond dip! The children should also be commended on the respect they showed the nature around.
