We have been busy bees in phonics this week showing off what we can do and learning new sounds.
During Maths, we have been learning about number bonds using Numicon, pegs, hangers and our fingers to help us. We played ‘Ping Pong’ with our numbers and were very quick!
We learnt a new text, ‘All About Crocodiles’ in English and we were so absorbed in our learning we didn’t notice Mr Ingall pop into our class!
In History, we were learning about stegosauruses and why they have plates: to defend themselves, to show off and to control their temperature. As you can see from our picture - many of us have taken our learning outside of the classroom.
For Yoga, we learnt new poses linked with Autumn – animals and weather.
Word of the Week: Systematic
