In Maths this week we have been learning how to partition numbers into tens and ones. This was quite challenging but we showed great perseverance and never gave up.

We have been innovating our text 'How to trap a dinosaur' this week into 'How to trap a flying reptile.' We all made our own text maps. We used our dinosaur and flying reptiles learning to help us add information to our text maps. We are looking forward to writing our instruction text next week.

We have had a great week and had lots of jumps on the class lily pad. We had three jumps alone with Mrs Hancox yesterday and reached number 20! We voted for our next class treat today and decided that we would like to make a class cake . . . and eat it of course! Yum . . . . !
