In Literacy this week we have been learning the story of The Gruffalo. We have used this story to help with our full stops and capital letters learning as well as developing our adjective learning. Today, we started to innovate the characters, thinking about who we could replace the mouse with or the fox with for example.
In Maths we have begun to learn our Magical Multiplying. We have been writing repeated addition number sentences and then using these to write multiplication number sentences. We shall continue with this learning next week.
This afternoon we had our class treat. We chose to have an hour of art during which time we could draw, paint, cut, stick or even use clay to make animals of our choice. Adjectives we would use to describe our treat time are: fantastic, great, cool, incredible, amazing. A simile for how we felt during the treat time is, 'As happy as a rainbow.'
