This week we have continued learning about Captain James Cook and his desire to explore the unknown. We enjoyed browsing through atlases, looking at globes and identifying the UK and Europe. We also had great fun using Google Maps to find our school using satellite images, and then panning out to look at the UK as an island and compare its size to other countries around the world.
In English, we have started to innovate our story Pele and the Rivers of Fire and are looking forward to writing our stories next week.
In Maths, we revised our earlier learning of money and practising making totals in different ways, with some of us challenging ourselves to use pound coins and even notes.
We're looking forward to our visit to the Warriner Farm tomorrow.
