What a start to our week! Yesterday, we came in from our morning break to find that a dinosaur had rampaged through our Year 1 area and made a massive mess. There were tables turned over, chairs knocked over, leaves everywhere, a chunk of the wall had been eaten and a story map eaten! We followed the therapod footprints to discover that the dinosaur had escaped through Mr Protherough's classroom door and across the carpark. We also found some dinosaur catching tools left behin by Professor Huxley!

Today, we have learnt about some of the giant pterosaurs that once flew in the skies such as Ornithoceirus and Quetzalcoatlus. A wingspan of a Quetzalcoatlus was 19 metres. We took ourselves outside to measure the wingspan and fit ourselves within it.

We're as happy as stomping dinosaurs to be back at school. wink
