The final week of this term has brought no let-up to our learning. We have focused most of our learning this week on our amazing human bodies. We have learnt about some of the most important organs inside our bodies such as the brain, liver, kidneys, heart, stomach, lungs and ribcage. We have looked closely at the human skeleton and used bone shaped dog biscuits to recreate the skeleton. Haven't we done well?! We have also learnt about our five senses and enjoyed carrying out experiments focusing on hearing, tasting and smelling. We have used mirrors to look closely at our eyes and learnt about the pupil, iris, sclera and the eyelid.

For Outdoor Learning this week we created our own Stegosauruses and used the colourful nature around us to decorate them, especially the beautiful leaves.

Mrs Akers has been so pleased with how well we have focused on our learning this term that we are enjoying an afternoon of Golden Time. Happy Half Term! devil
