The focus of our Amazing Animals learning this week couldn't have been more appropriate given the cold weather. We learnt about the wonderful polar bear and how it is suited to living in arctic conditions. We had great fun trying to create our own arctic animals that have some of these same characteristics. Did you know the polar bear had black skin or webbed feet? From the large size of a polar bear on Monday to tiny birds on Thursday when we all took part in the RSPB Birdwatch. It was very cold but we had a great time watching and listening. Some of us even brought our own binoculars for the occasion! We then used the data of which birds we saw to create our own pictograms and block graphs; we're getting very good at constructing these! yes
