What a busy end of term we have had! We had a great time inventing our own stories and showing off all the wonderful writing skills we have learnt so far this year. Lots of us included capital letters, full stops, exclamation marks and some amazing similes such as, 'Roses as red as blood,' and, 'Hands as gentle as feathers.' After finishing our wonderful stories, we used an app on the ipads to create the main characters of our stories and the setting of our story. We had a great time doing this.
We really enjoyed our Amazing Animals learning this week when we found out about animals that can glow in the deepest seas. Did you know that this is called bioluminescence? We watched clips of wierd and wonderful animals such as the Angler Fish, using their bioluminescence to communicate, entrap, defend and protect.
Here's to term 4!
