This is one of our busiest weeks in Foundation...only 2 days to go; until 'Whoops-A-Daisy-Angel is performed for your delight!

The children are so excited and have been brilliant at learning their lines and the songs too! We're feeling proud.

We have of course contiued with our learning...

We wrapped up warm and continued our learning outside.

The children collected sand from our sandpit and filled a metal tray. We then collected sticks of various sizes and used them as pens!

We had great fun writing in the sand and making new discoveries. The children described what they were creating and how it felt writing in sand. They even talked about 'stick grip' compared to our usual pencil grip.

In literacy we have been learning about writing labels & why things need to be labelled.

In maths our focus has been to create patterns, we've enjoyed using lots of equipment to make colour patterns.
