We have a wonderful PSHE programme that we follow in school.

Each year group has their own puzzle piece. Ours is called Jigsaw Jenny, she is a soft, blue, cuddly toy. The children are very fond of her. She is passed around the circle and the children know that it's their turn to talk when they are holding Jigsaw Jenny.

Each week we discuss a different topic. This week our topic is called 'Fly to the Future' The children will close their eyes and imagine going on a journey into the future. Being on a rocket, taking off and zooming through time. They will imagine themselves as adults, one child will choose a job card & act it out to the class. We will then talk about what we need to do now to get that job in the future. What things we need to learn to help us achieve our dream job.

In Maths this week we are introducing the topic of money. The children have a selection of coins to handle and identify.

They are enjoying our role play shop, complete with a till and money.
