In English we have been learning how to write newspaper articles. We wrote about The Great Fire of London, and how the fire started. We used the five ws; who, why , where, what and when, this gives the reader more information about the event.
In Maths this week we have using coordinates to plot Christmas pictures, such as Santa, presents, Santa’s hat and a Christmas tree.
This week in P.E. we have played hockey. We enjoyed playing a match and learnt how to get into spaces. We communicated with our team mates when we were in spaces.
During topic we learned more about the Plague, and we did a reading comprehension to check our understanding. We also infected most of the children and staff with the plague by putting white stickers on them. It’s ok they didn’t really get the plague!
Lights, Camel, Action.
On Wednesday night we all performed in the church for our Christmas production/nativity for friends and family. We all really enjoyed the performance and so did the audience.
Yesterday the whole school walked to church for the carol service. We sang beautifully, read clearly, played our instruments tunefully and loudly!
