Another busy week - we have been working reciprocally in Science to investigate shadows and how they change size. We have shown that we can work really well in small groups and can now record our results in different ways, such as in bar charts.

In English, we have been discussing various important issues such as fox-hunting, wearing school uniform and using mobile phones in schools. Next week we shall be writing our discussion texts witht he help of our wonderful tool-kits.

In Maths, we have been practising a written method for subtraction and we are pretty good at it!

Hopefully, by now, all classes will have written their ECO poems and designed a useful classroom item out of rubbish. Next week, the ECO team will begin to collect the fruit waste and ensure this is put into the correct recycling bin. This has previously all been put into landfill so this is an important step in our quest for a greener school!

Superstars were Martha and Will this week. Top Banana was Olivia for always bringing her sunny smile into our class. smiley
