We have just returned from a very wind-swept visit to the Hindu temple in Birmingham. A very well done to the Year 3s, who endured a long, bumpy journey and a very wild, windy welcome.

The children were impeccably behaved and had an exciting opportunity, which they may never have again, glimpsing into this inclusive place of worship.

We were treated to poppadoms and delicious lemon rice for lunch. At the weekends, the temple often feeds up to 2,000 people from all religions!

In Maths, we enjoyed practising our times tables outside with Miss Deacon and in English we made shadow puppets to help us to retell the story, Why the Seagull Cries.

In PE, most of us remembered a full PE kit so well done! PLEASE remember that it is your responsibility to have this in school EVERY DAY!

Superstars were Emily and Kyle this week and Top Banana was Max for fabulous participation at the temple.
